We angels are full of surprises

fascination

Angels certainly are full of surprises. Not least of which is how direct and precise Archangels are in their language (never mind how BIG they are – their energy fills a room!) You think you know all the nuances of a word? Ask an Archangel to tell you how it applies to your life! Both pieces that follow were written with Archangels, both on a (different) single word, picked apparently randomly…though clearly there is nothing random about this process. 🙂

Synchronicity – with Archangel Uriel – 16 August 2014

Child, sometimes I doubt that you would know synchronicity if it attached itself to the end of your nose. Do not feel unduly chastened, for it is the same for all humans.

We angels are full of surprises. We arrange synchronous opportunities. We lay them in your path and you humans step around them or over them as if they were not there. Sometimes you see them but you do not trust your own eyes. You think this synchronicity is too good to be true. How can just the right thing have happened at just the right time? Is it a trick? Is it a test?

Oh, my little brothers and sisters! Listen to your hearts. Listen to your souls. We angels know about harmony – and what is synchronicity if not harmonious opportunity, if not harmonious good fortune? You know the difference between a trick and synchronicity. You know it if you bother to listen to your inner voice – for that voice will sing in harmony with ours.

Do not imagine, however, that all such occurrences are easy, joy-filled and carefree. Sometimes the greatest strides are taken by accepting the greatest challenges. We are strong and resolute. We fly into danger to protect you and to protect right. We smite when it is right to do so. We are driven by the purity of love and the sure knowledge of right. We would not offer synchronous challenge, no matter how daunting, if it were not right for you to proceed.

Speak from the heart and listen to the heart. Keep your eyes and ears and hearts open. This is the way, the only way, to know when what is presented to you is a gift from us – a heaven-sent opportunity – or is something darker and less fulfilling. Listen to your inner voice and when it hits the right note sing out, take action, and dance to the melody of opportunity. Fly free with us upon the winds of possibility. Believe that sometimes the right thing does come along at precisely the right time.

This is the nature of synchronicity. This is how we lay our gifts at your feet. Pause, observe, see them, then grasp them gently but firmly and be thankful. We smile upon you. You are up to the challenge. You deserve the reward.

Fascination – with Archangel Michael – 18 October 2014

Beware the fascination that becomes obsession.

Much learning comes from the ability to concentrate upon a task, from directing concerted effort into learning a skill, from the hours upon hours during which this skill is honed to perfection. Much joy comes from the blending of effort with enjoyment – when the skill being learned is one from which you derive pleasure and feel satisfaction. Thus fascination can be an excellent starting point from which to learn or develop a skill at which you truly excel and through which you give joy to yourself and to others.

But life carries on around you and when you concentrate upon one task, one skill, to the exclusion of all others, life withers on the vine. Or one vine bears beautiful fruits in a garden gone to wasteland. The true richness of life is to taste from many vines, to be fascinated by life’s diversity, to appreciate its richness – not to obsess about a single aspect.

Fascination is the key but be aware that it fits many locks. Go through all the doors to discover the divine.

The poetry of angels

The Fallen Angel - Alexandre Cabanel (1847)

The Fallen Angel – Alexandre Cabanel (1847)

Over the years, my continued exploration with inspired and automatic writing has helped me to connect with a variety of different spirit communicators. Learning how their different energies feel, and their written voices sound, is fascinating.

Here is an example of writing with an angelic energy – in this case, with a fallen angel.  Unsurprisingly (choirs of angels and all that) angels tend towards the lyrical. One day, I hope to do full justice to an angel’s poetry – one of the many reasons to keep practicing to improve the quality of my connection.

Hope – 8 March 2014

To hope is to heal, to touch and feel

the world again with something more than fear.

To heal is to smile, to feel the warmth

within a heart once closed and cold.

To hope is to see the blinding blue

of sky lit up with sun, with light –

not darkened clouds or deepest night.

To hope is to have a spring upon your step,

to pace with joy and energy, not

crawl or shuffle with a fearful tread.

Hope is essential to your souls

as bread is to your bodies.

Hope is as food and air and water

to your needful growth.

Spread hope and you spread joy.

Feel hope and you feel joy.

Be hope itself, be light,

be joyful and be whole.
